By exploring the region we grew up in, sailing became a part of our DNA and made us drawn to the freedom of spending time on the sea. Driven by decades of expertise, deep passion for the Adriatic and a vision for providing the ultimate sailing ambiance, Ante Miličić and Fabjan Viđak became the heart and soul of the Boat Lab boutique shipyard.
Ante Miličić, with a background in economics, brings over 12 years of expertise in luxury boat charters along the Adriatic coast. Managing a fleet of custom-built boats on Hvar, he has collaborated with some of the most prestigious hotels and agencies, creating memorable experiences for clients with boats he designed, each one built to withstand over 140 days of active use each season. His hands-on knowledge and deep industry insight make him an anchor of support and innovation for our team.
Fabjan Viđak is the visionary force behind Boat Lab’s design and production capabilities. With more than ten years as an entrepreneur in shipbuilding, he has launched award-winning projects, including a shipyard with a 120-boat annual capacity, and developed over 16 unique designs across electric and power propulsion models. His background spans from crafting components on superyachts to building custom boats, where he now pours his expertise into bespoke, high-quality builds that meet each client’s unique needs.
